ID:	316367 Been mainly cleaning the the dirt and grime from the engine compartment and underside. I thought it was fairly clean but it is amazing how much comes off when you start with re brushing. Was talking with the wife and she asked if I was going to put AC in some day. I said I had thought about it and now would be a good time since I have it stripped down. Got the go ahead from her and that’s all I needed. Picked up a Vintage Air. Got the condenser, dryer, and evaporator mocked up. Then cut the firewall for the ECU. Tight fit between the ECU and evap unit.

      • You will love that A/C set up. I installed one about a year ago in friends Bronco and I was impressed how well it works for heat and A/C. The directions kind of suck, but I'm sure you can figure it out. Nice work!

        • Looks good Mike. I did the BCB AC kit in my former 71. It was a challenge with the directions, or lack there of. But when finished you will be an expert!

          • Thanks Patrick and Doug. Hoping it won’t be too difficult, but I’ll find out soon enough.

            • Finally finished cleaning up the engine bay and underside. Weather cooperates and I was able to prime, seam seal, undercoat the wheel wells, and paint this weekend. Glad this is over.

                  • Thanks Doug and Patrick,it is quite an improvement.
Installed my aero tank this week thanks to Doug helping me select the right fittings. Also installed the motor today. I’m a little worried that the TBS won’t clear the hood. It looks high but hoping it works or I’ll have to figure out a fix.

ID:	316614 Rotated the throttle body another 90 degrees and turned the IAC around to clear the oil fill tube. Looks like this is going to work.

ID:	316645 Been making small progress this week. Finished plumbing the fuel supply line and put the engine wire harness on. Did run into an issue that I’m not sure what to do about yet. My back ordered EFI clutch equalizer bracket arrived yesterday so went to install it. There isn’t room between the stock explorer exhaust manifold the lower bell housing bolt. Checked my 302 manifold and the collector drops further forward. Any ideas from those that have used stock explorer exhaust manifolds and a manual trans?

                          • Wish I could offer a suggestion... Of the two Broncos I owned with Manual aftermarket Trannies, My 77 had Mustang roller motor and I used the factory Exhaust manifolds. And the 67 has JBA SS headers, so no experience with Explorer Exh manifolds. Sorry...

                            • Thanks for your input Doug. Did you use the stock mustang or bronco manifold? I’m thinking I look for another stock manifold from another vehicle, use my stock bronco manifold, or fab a bracket. Even if I could fab a bracket to fit the equalizer bracket maybe to close to the exhaust. Worried about the plastic pivot bushing.
