Picked up this bronco in October 2017. I’ve been tearing it apart to replace a floor panel. Now It’s stripped
Down and off the frame. Now frame is on a rotisserie. It Came with a mercury marine 302 and 351w. Both need rebuilt. Was going to install a rebuilt 351w. Now I’m going with an explorer swap.

Welcome! That looks like a nice one to start with. This will be a great build to watch. What is your end goal? Stock, Luber, Wheeler? Where are you located? I'm looking forward to seeing your progress.

Crawlin68. Right now I plan on an np435 for road and hunting. Not going lubr. Fenders are already cut. Original plan was use 351w that it came with. But I picked up an explorer motor. So I’m doing fuel injection. Already did my wiring harness and pcm is on its way back from efiguy. But as with broncos. Plans are always fluid. Lol.

Doug, Yes. The build seems to change daily. Haha. Back in October I would have never thought I would go with an explorer motor and full efi. I thought I wanted a plane Jane motor with carb or tbi. But after reading a million threads, I changed my mind once again. I also would have never thought that I would order a custom tank from aero thanks to you. And thanks for the email to offer the mass buy. And thanks for answering all my questions. Karl

Sounds like we are doing similar builds. I ended up buying an entire explorer for the donor 5.0/4R70W. I just ordered my fuel tank from Aero as well, should have it on the 15th or so.
