  • Why the sudden bump in progress? I have a self imposed deadline of May 14th which is 3 weeks away from our next big camping trip on the Cardinal River. I am hellbent to have this unit on that trip, 2 waterfall destinations at the base of two Canadian glaciers and the summit of the Cardinal Divide.

      • Priced out driveshafts Yesterday, whole fkin sticker shock!

ok let’s call some buddies back home in the big city and see if my preferred shop is any better, or has driveshafts gone up 10 fold?

instead let’s pick up a new Battery and box, start on wiring.

brought a half dozen of these 3M printed bronco emblems off of Amazon. I figure I gonna smash up the originals on some tree or the like….why not just use something that’s cheap and replaceable.

                  • Time and budget constraints have come with Mom in ICU on life support so it’s not gonna make June but my brother said just keep tinkering away on it and we will plan another trip up in August or September.

just focus on what you need for the camping trip. This weekend in the middle of doing stuff at moms place, I got a heater under the dash before I go extending wires to the battery behind my passenger seat. Fuel Cell will be ordered up, in the mean time I am sure I can score 350 for my tank.

                    • Sorry to hear about your Mom... Family illness can really pull the wind out of your sails. I hope for a speedy recovery? Yes, keep tinkering on the EB, it is a good distraction.

                      • Bronco gonna take a back seat for now. Will now shoot for August/September.

Cosmetic stuff for the one ton and minor shit for the mini toy hauler will take precedence and focus a little on the finances as I have gotten all of moms straight up zero now plus cleaning up shit around her place in case we need to do a fast sale.

You will get there... Family takes priority, been there with my Dad, almost 9 years ago.

went back to a fuel cell since my tank was pretty much sitting on the rear diff.

which led to replumbing my fuel lines to include a ball valve for theft prevention as well eliminate as much fuel loss when a pump or filter needs to be replaced.
