Good seeing you Lars, thanks for the kind words...

At some point I will talk more in-depth about the 5-spd conversion, but for now I will say the Yellow Sub was the test mule for the company that did the conversion. About 10 different parts have been created and it makes the Truck that much more enjoyable to drive. Freeway speeds with a NP435, 4:11's, and 33" tires were a challenge, now I can cruise at 70 mph at 2200 rpm. I will leave you with one picture for now... More later.

Fuel delivery issues started on the 79 after a week at home... Thankful that this didn't occur while I was driving home from Idaho, in the middle of no-where Hwy 95.

Checked out a number of possibilities and it came down to fuel starvation at anything over 35-40 mph. 730 miles on my new Napa Chinese made fuel pump. They sold me another one, which will be refunded once I return the dead one. It still sucks to do the job twice...

My Video will not load, but the old pump rattles inside...

Do you have an inline filter?
I screwed up and added an inline to mine and it starved the pump at high speeds.

Nope. Just the Factory one at the Carb. New Tank and sending unit, lines blown out a few times... So I didn't see the need.

And on a positive note, I went to AAA yesterday and took the Bronco off Non-op after 15 years. Two smog tests, a few antiquated smog pieces replaced (Thanks again Patrick D.), rebuilt Carb, a bunch of other parts, and $151 to the State.

Replaced the factory RV mirrors... Bad memories from the past as I peeled one of these off my Dad's 1979 F350 back in the day. (Talk about an ass chewing)

Couldn't find any decent original 79 factory ones, but I bought Ford new in the box mirrors for 90-96 Bronco from the same guy who sold me the white spoked rims.

A little tweaking and they fit great.

I was given a Sport steering wheel by a long time Firefighter buddy. It's in pretty good shape, just needed to order a horn button from Dennis Carpenter.

Since I placed an order to DC, I decided to buy a replacement headliner.
Glad I did as I found Mouse nest #7. Vacuumed today, will Decontaminate tomorrow.
Hoping to get Automotive color in Hollister to match the original paint on the old one, since it has a white finish currently. (Just maybe without the mouse piss stains)

                      Headliner done...

Support brackets for front bumper anchor points and skid plate shims back from powder coater.

I see that my relatively new speedo cable from Napa is leaking T-case oil and maybe the PTO/Inspection cover as well.
Wiped everything down and will monitor.

Debating on pulling the PS box and having it rebuilt, as it has slop and there is no adjustment left. Then there is getting the AC back in-service before the Summer...

Major service on my Son's Camry is next, 125K and it is untouched except for normal servicing.
After that I have an LS powered FJ40 coming in for a rewire...

Steering box is in, fresh seals on rear side windows and had window tint applied while they were out.

Sub is heading to Cage Dave, so he can fix a few little things...

Cage Dave is working his magic on the 79... I can't say enough good things about his work!

Fixing some small Boo-boos from the previous Owner: Burn mark on the hood from a Carb fire?, Divot in the tailgate, paint wear marks on the lower door frame, rust hole patch on the Pass floor, and a repaint around the lower windshield frame with new glass and seal.

                            Thanks Dave!
