That is a nice package to come home to! Once I recover a little more from my recent spending spree I will order myself a pair of those too... How's the overall quality of the finish? Hopefully they came with a "Made in USA" sticker somewhere on them!

ok ever since 8:00p.m. yesterday until now (2:00a.m.) i pulled my motor out and tore it down to nothing.
              nothing special
              30 over
              hydrolic lifters
              comp 4x4 cam
some headers (if i can get a good deal on them)

and i always wondered why my motor torqued up so much.... BROKEN MOTOR MOUNT!!!

i have to wake up and be at work at 8 in the morning... 6 hours!!! someone take my place

now i am going to bed and the motor fairy will fix it all up for me :grinpimp but my pillow isnt big enough for the block

Limit the scope of this project now or it will snowball like it has for me! Who's doing the machine work on your block?

                            Thanks guys.
now im planning to drop it in asap. i just need to get my dad.::cough cou YUKON Cough::. so i can go rent the dam cherry picker. then I am going to bolt up the clutch , bellhousing and the NP on the cherry. drop it in and awya i go!!

now i have a few questions for all of you. from what Chris at Elby's told me is that i need to bring it past idle for about 15 min to make sure nothing slips and BOOM! then i need about 500 miles on, then i dump the oil and replace it. next i need 2000 miles on it to redline it???

I remember when my dad bought a brand new boat. we had to put at least 10 hours on the motor before we could go over 3000 rpms and add more weight to it.

now what RPM's can i max out at durring the first 500. then the 2000 miles.
and Chris at Elby's is a race car driver so i wanted some experience from all the new motor NCB guys.... thanks
