      Yes still working on it...

Little things on the to do list, and the repairs of things that pop up... Like shifter illumination that stopped working.

      New floor mat in front...

I like that floor mat. Looks good and probably helps quite down some of the road noise too.

          Looks great Doug.
Patrick that mat is really nice. I put the same one in the front of my bronco, over top of dynamat. It definitely helps quiet things down, and decreases heat too.

Continuing with the short list of things...

Brakes are squared away, mismatched pads and bad caliper.
Getting close to 1000 miles on it... I get lots of positive comments here in town and at least one offer a month to buy it.
Re-bonded the bows to the hardtop to stop the "canning".
Had a Wiper cover made out of aluminum, sorry no picture yet... If I was going to pay $70 for a plastic one, I figured this would look even better.
Got the Resto-sounds Radio installed with its matching amp. Very Happy with the sound. Got all the components from WH's.
Had carpet made for the back at a local shop.
Found these Hard Korr lights in a Booth at SEMA. Guys are from Australia and just opened an Office in LA. High end Osram bulbs, but Chinese built. Got a screaming deal on the price since it was Friday and they did not want to pack them up to take home.
Found these lights in the Hella booth at SEMA. Made for exterior lighting that you can tie into music for Bling or adjust colors with an App from your phone. I got them (two) for interior lights. Depending on how you power them, you can have a red/blue/green/white light. All three tied together is the brightest for the white. ($9.95 ea at Summit)
I pulled the Radiator I had 900 miles on, 1.5 years since it was last R & R'd, cause of a leak. Put my spare Rad from the 77 in it. I had it repaired again... this time at San Jose Rad on Lincoln Ave. Great guys and a fair price! Not many of these Rad guys left... None in Gilroy or Morgan Hill

Looks good Doug! I would like to see that aluminum wiper cover once you get a picture. What did you use to adhere the bows back to the hard top? I need to do this to mine and I wasn't sure what kind of adhesive to use.

Patrick, I went round and round with Finish Masters in Gilroy (body/paint/supplies place) about what to use. A hard bond may cause issues with heat/cooling...

The body shop here in town said the stuff pictured as it will allow flex due to temp changes. You have to remove the two sided tape Ford used and clean thoroughly B4 use.
I did a 24 hr set time with the jack in place.

Wiper cover, fits using the factory brackets. I could have made it a tad shorter... The idea was I could put gauges in it, like I had in the 68.
The factory gauges are not close to what the ECU is seeing from its sensors... Voltage is low on factory rehab'd cluster, Temp reads high?
I like the idea of an all in one aftermarket instrument cluster, but the price is ...

                    Hella lights installed.
Drill one hole to pass wire through, fish it down the support bow to the side, drill two more to mount unit with short self tapping screws.
Ground and power come from windshield area, with a GM weather pack connector if I want to remove the top.

That's interesting. I expected some kind of adhesive. I won't be doing mine for a little while, you'll have to report back how it help up after some road time. Your wiper cover looks great. That should make a perfect place for some gauges.

So 1,600 miles on my Bronco and the new heater core (NAPA) started leaking the 1st time I used the heater this year... A do-able job, but one I was hoping not to revisit sooo soon.

Trying a WH's Heater core this time.

The leak... What a bitch it is to take out the heater box after you add stereo, lighting, sound deadening, etc

My WH aluminum heater core leaked in that exact location with about the same time on it. I’m in the process of changing mine out for an old ford one I picked up in a swap meet.
