Hardtop is off and Cage Dave's single hoop roll-bar has been fitted and sent off to powder coaters.
Working on the Wipers, wiring and such.
I have tunes, went with Retro sounds, so far I am impressed. Was a bastard getting the am radio out, practically had to pull the dash. Just have door speakers for now... Holes where there.
When the roll-bar is installed, so will the seat belts and I can run it down the freeway and see how the alignment turned out.

So as stated I have about 72 miles on the 71, good day on the road sorting it out. Not sure the alignment is where it needs to be yet? Slight wander to the right.
The Roll bar from Cage Dave is bolted down, Seat belts are in, tailgate seals are in, Fresh air box is sealed up, upper door seals are in.
Need some roll bar padding, and some place to put my road Coke? More speakers needed, started on the boxes, waiting on 6x9 spacer rings. (No one carries that stuff locally anymore )
Cleaned up some used sun visors, but aftermarket used wiper cover is not in that good of shape to install... Cracks.
Two relay Explorer holder is installed and wired up for the back up Led light and a future upgrade. Started on the wiper fluid bag and pump install.
Hope to take it out again tomorrow! Two years this month since I started, feels really good to have a Bronco to drive again...

I need to sign out of this site and not come back. Too much temptation.
I drive my Bronco around and the whole time I am thinking to myself, man I want to build a LUBR. I think its going to have to happen. Been scanning ads online looking for "the one" but then I realize that I have no space.
Doug, I am continually impressed with your workmanship. I think I need to stop by sometime after work to see this rig.

The big wiring boot came with the Centech Harness...
Carpeting on the floor, but not on the wheel wells or tailgate. Probably a rubber mat or floor mats in the front.
It is a sickness Tony... You are welcome any time. So many little things to finish, not sure what I will tackle next?
Windshield wiper fluid sprayer needs mounted and wired, Wiper cover inside, carpet, Hardtop Bows need reattached to the roof as it borderline "Cans" going down the freeway. Cruise control?
I did put my first scratch in the paint
I took it out today for a back hill drive and put 50 miles on it
Steering on the 71 has a wonder to the right, or so I thought. After 300 miles I took it back to the shop and they said alignment numbers are still spot on?
Turns out the right caliper is dragging and so far I have not discovered why... But I have ruled a few things out. The wheel is off and I am hoping I get to work on it today.
I started in on my Saleen Mustang, it had a howling rear end. Pinion bearing are bad. But no, there is more... Someone was in this thing B4. Shims in the wrong places and they are all booger-ed up.
Carrier bearing surface is bad and someone put a bunch of dimples in the surface hoping the bearing would stay pressed on... Nope. So the carrier is junk too The joys of PO's.
Waiting for a new locker unit from West Coast Diff's today
How do you like those seats? I was looking at getting them for mine but it seems like they wouldn't hold you side to side very well. I really like the look of them with the fold and tumble rear seat from WH
[QUOTE=904Bronco;166173]Everyone likes updates... But not a lot to say.

***Update > Two different pads in the preloaded calipers in the WH kit. One sets number crosses over to a O'Reilly's organic pad, the other one will not cross over? I don't know why I did not catch it, well maybe because I did not install everything at once? Will try to get a matching set today... Check clearance for binding and put everything back together. Fingers crossed.
