Im coming friday but i left my spare rear shaft at home. It probably wouldn't fit because i have dual cases.
I had a leak from my tcase on the way up. I went to top it off in the hotel parking lot and found most if the tcase adapter bolts loose. Also found the latch of the tire carrier broken.

Sounds like things are well covered. Slowpoke and Steve picked up (supposedly anyway) a new shaft from Jim at WH at about 7:30 this morning when they were passing through.
Haven't heard any news about the hand-off yet, but assume it went as planned.

Can't wait to hear the stories next week!

Just getting a moment on the computer. My name is Fred posting on my brother Gary's Account. I am the one who broke a driveshaft at the beginning of the trail a little over a week ago. I am from SoCal and both of us were experiencing the Rubicon for the first time. I want to thank a few people for helping us through some of our issues. Thanks to Wild Horses, Matt and Jim! They got me a Driveshaft (or 2) and opened up an hour early so Steve Pestana and Dave(Big thanks for going an hour out of your way to pick it up) could pick it up on their way to the trail. Installed and on our way. About 200yds down the road, I found a way to break a brand new drive shaft at both ends, 408w may not have been the best choice! We were getting ready to pack up and go home when another driveshaft showed up! Big thanks to Marc D, earlybronco72 for the shaft and Jacob, Efibroncoman for bringing it out. Got it installed and ended up completing the whole trail. Had quite a few issues along the way with the alternator not charging quite enough at low rpm, but had and awesome experience. I have been wanting to do the trail for over 20 yrs, and all of you that helped I say Thank you. Marc D., I will be in the Placerville area in the next few weeks and would like to personally deliver it to you. Thanks NorCal Broncos! Sincerely, Fred Lewis

Dang Fred, sounds you had the full Rubicon experience! LOL. I somehow missed you on your way through. We were camped right at the dam of Buck Island Lake. Sorry I missed you, but I'm glad that you had a good time on the trial. Maybe next year you can come up and join us and we can run in the trial together.

Glad I could help out Fred. I'm going to be in Boise August 5-13th, so I hope we can get together. I wish I could have made the trip, but with wheeling trips to Moab and Arkansas this year, and trips with the family, I'm missing three different groups on the con this year.
