Not sure this thread will help you since the problems he had are not due to the Hydroboost but perhaps accelerated from the HB due to more pressure? I dunno, but my own HB has been fantastic since being broken in. Was a little tight at first.

I'll echo the above comments. My thread (this thread) got off course and followed me through many trials and tribulations.
I have watched some youtube vids on the amount of grinding performed by several different people and I need to check mine out again to make absolutely certain that my front calipers do not ever contact the knuckles. I've looked at this before, it seems OK but perhaps I've missed something. It is about the only thing that makes sense anymore.
I don't know when I will get back to this, but I'd basically consider this thread closed. If anybody else has their own HB install to document, or problems to resolve, please start a new thread to avoid groupthink. Fresh eyes are probably better.
I will persevere, I just don't have much time to devote to this. I had all kinds of personal challenges that have taken me away from this project several times since beginning on it.
To be clear, my braking performance is adequate and a slight improvement since removing the vacuum booster. As has been said, it seems the system has exacerbated other problems, though I don't feel confident (or at least not yet) at driving my rig at highway speeds.
Thanks to all who have provided suggestions.1970 Bronco
