They are Mig welded, stick would be fine but it can get messy...

Its usually easier to call or PM him on pirate, I think he is probably on SOO many forums that he doesnt check all of them all the time.

Just stopped by RS and picked up one of these for myself. I recommend to anyone local to go down there and get your stuff in person. Got the cover for less than advertised, and then I was telling him what I was doing and he gave me a bunch of scrap pieces of tubing to help with what I'm building for free. Great costumer service.
