I use to think the same way ....... Then i seen the helicopter! You need to be gone before he gets there, otherwise you don't out run him.. At least in a bronco..

The most common used police helicopter is the Jet Ranger. It's pretty easy to shoot out of the sky, and that glass isn't bullet proof.
