GEEZ Pat! so how many axles have you gone through??? I thought a 60 60 combo was the best.
I have never heard of a Mog9, but i have heard about a 609. Is a Mog9 a 9inch turned about 45* so the yoke points straight up? and then use the mog parts for the driveshaft angle ?
This is going to be cool to follow.{o===o}Originally posted by TBS-POPSEXCUSSSSSSE ME oh RUBIMASTER!!! I forgot how Awesome YOU ARE!!! I BEG your forgivness....Originally posted by CityHickI don't give probabilities in percentage format anymore

Pat, you will be bored after this mod. There will be no lines to take, no thrills of getting stuck, no reattempts, no nothing. You will once again have a grocery getter with the store being the end of the trail. On the other hand, you could open your own drivers ed coarse for the 15 year olds.

It will still be street-able. I am going to run a 2.47 R&P in the 9 inch. That coupled with the 2.13 of the mog box gives me a final ratio of 5.26:1. The stock mog drum brakes are big, heavy and hold a lot of heat inside the box causing some over heating issues at highway speeds, but I'm converting to disc brakes so it will dissipate the heat much better eliminating the heat issues for street driving.
