Sizing up the heater control valve and hoses. Next. Clean up the heater housing and get it in place so I can button up the dash.

The fun continues. Gotta always improvise with these rigs.

Ouch! Did the threads strip out?

Previous owner tried to drill it out and then pushed in the square nut in. Hole is wallered out. Cut a new piece of 1/4” flat steel and tapped it to 3/8” thread. Blew out all of the loose rust. Not rotted. Just surface rust. Still have to spray rust converter into the window frame to prevent further rust. Using Eastwood product that I sprayed in my chasis frame.

First time putting the top back on the get fitment for the cage before final welds and the surprises keep coming. Holes don’t line up where top meets the windshield. Fun. Now I have to drill new holes in to the top to match the windshield. Either the top has been replaced or the windshield frame. Hmm.
