  • "BRONCO DE MAYO" May 5th, 2012 Clovis, CA

Last years "Spring Bronco Bash" in Clovis has turned into:
    Bronco De Mayo

Mark your calendars for May 4th, 5th, and 6th. The 5th will be snow/dirt run up Bald Mountain (whatever the conditions, its a go). You can come in on Friday night with camping gear, trailers, RV's and enjoy a campfire night. Have breakfast with us in the morning, drive or trailer up to the trail head, wheel whatever conditions it will be, return to base camp for the 3 B's (BBQ, Beverages, and BS), and campfire festivities the second night. May should bring warmer temps than last year for tent camping. Post up, and let the Clovis/Fresno crowd know if you will be apart of this trip.

Check thread #17 for a schedule.

My goal is to have 10 or more broncos heading up the mountain on Saturday.
We have a good start. There are great obstacles like V-rock, posi hill, V-notch, Tranny bump (this is not right, can't remember, Steve took me here once), and Hollywood Hill. Check out this Toyota.

Hollywood Hill is one of those deceiving obstacles that LOOK so easy, but it's not.

So what's the deal with that obstacle? Steeper than it looks in video or what?

Haha very entertaining Patrick! Had a great time up there in your blue beast. The hill is pretty deceptive, off camber as well as steep with ruts and grooves to push you out of your line and off balance.
