Good times were had. I think I have this snow wheeling thing figured out. You need to buy a Toyota. There were about 10 different Toys playing in fresh snow, and not one got stuck. I guess thats because they weigh a whole 2000lbs, and the 14.5 wide tires help a lot.

I dont know what you're talking about.

Thanks again for having us and maybe next time when the snows gone we can get to the rocks.

      Looks like a fun trip!

Wider footprint and lighter weight definitely helps.
How much air did you have in your tires?

That is most likely why you were getting stuck and they weren't.
I start out at 5 and go down to 4 and sometimes 3.
The guy that goes with us and does the best runs 1.5-2 with no beadlocks.
Amazingly enough he never chucks a tire, but it worries me so I stick with 3+...

10 is the lowest I feel comfortable doing w/o beadlocks. I have burped one tire before, or at least I think I did. In the rocks its fine, but the snow is a whole different game.
10lbs, 12.5 wide tires and 2 tons doesn't do well.

The snow gives a lot more than the rocks, so you have less of a chance of pushing the tire off the bead.

Try it some time, you'll like it...
