Be careful buying "non CA" equipment. Most of the dealers there will check
your ID and refuse a sale anyway, but they have somewhat of a task force
that will follow some people out to their car and if they get into one with
CA plates they roll in and confiscate your new toys...

Not what I meant to imply... All I meant was the CA gun shows I've gone to have been really poor - good if you're into collecting knives or if all you want to look at is AR stuff. I want to go to a gun show where I can actually pick up and handle lots of different kinds of firearms.
