    • Thanks! my boys are big help scraping the undercoat I put on 20 yrs ago, not much fun. The rust is not to bad all things considered the hard place to fix is going to be the long channel that goes under the windshield. I don't like the idea of cutting the whole front apart, I didn't want that big of a job.

You should talk to Patrick, Crawlin68, about that. He did it on his.

        • Hey finally checking back. I have been welding all the little holes left from several fender flair kits and patching rust. All the rear body seams have broken behind the tail lights need to fix this too. To many rock hits from past con trips. I still have to fix the rot under the windshield hopefully Crawlin68 will see this and send helpfull hints. It's been 2yrs since last trip to the Con. I should be able to get back together and painted by summer. I look foreward to loading up the boys for their first trip and meeting some of you on the trail, good times to come.

I would tell you to just look at his thread, but it is like 1500 post or something. If you have a week or so, it is a good read.

Just checking in. I found this forum and registered a couple days ago. I'm in San Jose and I've had my '69 Bronco for...let's see...carry the one...14 years now, I think. It's been parked in my driveway for the last few, waiting for its promised rebuild. So, now that my wife's pregnant with our first kid and we're going through a major house remodel, of course I've started getting interested in working on it

Lot's of stuff to do first -- like getting the garage organized. Here's a pic. Kind of embarrassing after all the nice ones I've seen here.
