  • Kabobs

I just made some awesome Kabobs for dinner. Really quick and simple idea that tastes good and isn't horrible for you either.

Chop up the following and jam them onto kabob rods:
    Fingerling potatoes
    Vidalia onions
    Yellow and Red bell peppers
Corn on the cob, chopped into 2" long sections
    Zucchini
Aidell's Habanero and Green Chili sausage

Grill to your desired level of doneness. Sprinkle with a little fresh lemon juice and a little Morton's hot salt towards the end

I should have taken pictures as these things looked quite gourmet. Serve as-is or with your favorite dipping sauce.

These came out very tasty and took about 30 minutes to make.

    Re: Kabobs

Sounds good. I usually do chicken with kabobs but they can be challenging to be sure they are cooked all the way. Sausage is a good recommendation to try next time.

    What are fingerling potatoes?

Thats how I rub...I mean roll!

Pre-cooked sausage definitely makes kabobs easier. Fingerling potatoes are small potatoes that come in a few different colors. I like them better than other potatoes, I think they taste better.

Not sure where I learned about them but Costco's been selling them for a while up here.
