    new land owners want to close slick rock up off of highway 4 please follow the lower link on what you can do to stop it. It is possible but we need folks to step up...

    That sucks...
    I was a bit dissappointed when I camped at Utica in August - there was trash left behind everywhere! I spoke to a Deputy Sheriff that was passing through and she basically said that too many people had found that area and that 2007 had been a very bad summer for the areas where most people camp around there.
    Combine that with private owners of part of the trail wanting to close access and I bet we lose that trail. The Forest Service will probably back those land owners wishes due to the overuse of that area.

    Maybe the new land owners are Bronco owners.. one could only hope.

      It's a shame, but as stated above the more people find these great trails, the more they get trashed and eventually closed.

      We have some local trails here to the river and hot springs that are currently in dange because of this happening.
