Not sure if I want it painted at a shop, or OD Green from a rattle can. If you can paint it Orange let me know.

Oh I can paint it. Not saying it would be a good job though.

I like the OD Green idea. Maybe some desert tan accents to go with it.

I'm planning desert tan & flat black on the stretch. Figure it looks mean & will look good w/ a .50 cal mounted up top!

                  Re: Project: On The Rocks

So just when I thought I could take the old beast out for a test drive I hit a wall. I was planning on bleeding the brakes since longer brake lines were added along with the lift. However, the bleeder screws on the front decided to be a royal PITA and not come off. This has now led to me redoing the front drum brake setup and regreasing the hubs. Sometimes I want to throw it off a cliff. Oh well.

                      Re: Project: On The Rocks

I decided to spray my white vinyl seat black. The paint is more like a dye and sprays on very even. It hasnt been used yet so I cant comment on the durability.

I have also been in the process of switching out the wheel cylinders since the bleeder valve is rusted shut.

Those are the things that bleed off excess brake fluid pressure while going down very steep grades and your butt has a tight grip on your seat.

Here is a few pics of all the work that has been taking place since late Aug 2010. The lift is a Wild Horses 3.5inch set up with some 33s.

Fender flares will be added to all 4 fenders, the body is getting prepped for paint, and the rusty floorboards are getting cut out.
