Stopped raining long enough for me to pull it out of the mud in the back yard. Cleaning up the engine compartment for a little paint. Had a mess of black carbon crust all over the firewall. Only really bad spot is under the battery box.

Re: 1966 U13 roadster
Sorry Henry but we're gonna need more pics... Let's see some shots of the whole shebang!
And my vote is that you call it "six shooter" in respect to the 170...Last edited by Fungus232; 04-19-2010, 12:24 PM.sigpicRoad trips on an island get boring after the 1st lap...

Re: 1966 U13 roadster
My Bronco started life with a 170 I do miss it for wheeling in the rocks, thing never let me down. Well till I blew out the clutch and from there 250 six than a 5.0 now 5.8Originally posted by TBS-POPSAfter a huge amount of reflection, I have determined that what I saw in ukiah was in fact Brians bronco. I was also informed by my wife that she infact heard it run!!

Re: 1966 U13 roadster
My fab skills are weak but I stumbled on a neat trick today. While looking for a piece of tin to repair the rusted out battery area I found an air condition casing.
Nice gauge, powder coated, 90 degree lip. So I made a template, cut it out and screwed it on. I like it.Just a stock 1966 U13, 170 ci 6 cyl, no kiddin'.

Alabama boy frame up. What an erector set! I can't stop taking it apart. It is in much better shape that I thought. Could it possibly be 34,500 original miles?
No pictures because "security token missing"? Tried three times.Just a stock 1966 U13, 170 ci 6 cyl, no kiddin'.

Re: 1966 U13 roadster
Keeping it stock and have all new bushings and mounts. The tub is in very good shape except floor pans. I have a drivers side pan. Next I hang the tub sideways by the roll bar in the old shade tree and paint the already prepped underside. I hope to be driving it by 4th of July.Just a stock 1966 U13, 170 ci 6 cyl, no kiddin'.
