After a huge amount of reflection, I have determined that what I saw in ukiah was in fact Brians bronco. I was also informed by my wife that she infact heard it run!!
Didn't work on the bronco, just driving the wheels off of it, but I did build a new work bench out of junk I had laying around. I will skin it with some aluminum when I get back from Boise I'm June.
Got a little me time today while the wife and kid went to a b-day party. Got started on some new bumpers. 1.5X.250 DOM and 1.25X.188 flat bar. Front will have winch mount incorporated into it under grill.
Well, the daily driving of the brown bronco is over for now. The trany went out this morning right as I pulled into work. Good thing was the trailer was already hooked up to the truck at the house, so that was good. Bad thing is that when I pulled up to load the bronco the window track on the drivers door broke and the window dropped down. Ford did have the part, at $206, but at least they had it in stock. Now to the good part, my last part for the trany swap shipped today, and after the trany cooled down it drove on the trailer and in the driveway when I got home.
I'm out of gas for the welder, but I got some time in on the rear bumper. It's 3" wider than the front. I still need to weld the 4" flat bar to the top and put the frame mounts on.

A robot welder would make a huge difference, or just an actual welder, and not me, doing the welding would help. A jig would also make a huge difference
