  • Brown bronco

Well I finally pulled the 351W out of the bag and started buying parts. From what I understand, the original owner bought this long block about 25 years ago and it's been bagged an rolled over ever since. This will be a mild build with a comp cams 4X4 extreme cam, HEI distributor, cast iron 4 barrel and Q-jet. Since the engine is coming out I'm going to service the trany, replace the torque converter and put in a plate style cooler with a fan. I also have a 4 core radiator that has been reworked. Hopefully the rest of the parts will be in by the end I the week

I know. I have been daily driving it for over two years, and all I have done is check the fluids and replace a starter. Time for some love.

What about the headers just hanging on you're wall? Why didn't you use them? How are your rocker skis coming?

These were the shorties that were on the wall. The long tubes can't be run unless I have some lift. Rockers are still sitting where they were when you stopped by. Hopefully I will swap out the buggy for the brown bronco next week and then I will get on those when I get the new engine in.

Going to be tarped in the driveway, but that sounds like a good offer.

                              Are those headers smog legal?
