Anyone running one of these trannies yet? Did you have to change the shifter arm on the tranny when using a column shifter? I am about to open mine up to do the rear housing adapter and it seems like a good time to make all the changes at once...

Think they'll go for a BOGO?

I bought that same shifter set up. Nice for the money and easy to install in the transmission. Not sure about setting it up to shift right...i'm not there yet.

Did you install it in your rig or while the tranny was out?

Just did one, do it while the tranny is out. Also be careful when reassembing the transmission, I missed the overdrive servo engagment and had no fourth! Was not happy to have to go back in to fix my mistake!

Was afraid someone would say that... Can it be done while it's in?

Yes, it can be done no problem in the Bronco. Only difference is you will be laying down on the ground as opposed to working on a nice workbench!

It doesn't look to be very difficult. I guess the only issue would be the dripping of tranny fluids in my face while I do it... I'm gonna order one up. Thanks for the info!
