Change of plan. Dusy/Ershim Sept 16,17,18,19

Due to the event being held on the Rubicon that weekend we have decided to run the Dusy/Ershim. I have always wanted to go on this trail but have never been. I would like to find someone to go along that has been there before.

Anybody interested in going let me know.

No, I'm not even sure where it is, but may be up for a trip by then.

I personally have not done the trail but would like to. I hear you have to park your tow rig at the end of the trail and then back track like 3 hours to the start of the trail head. Then it is 3 days on the trail back to your tow rig. So plan 5 days for a round trip.

Here's the plan as it stands right now. Thursday the 15th after work drive to Shaver Lake and camp. Friday th 16th drive to the trailhead and start the trail. Then Monday the 19th be driving home.

Ok...so far I have 4 confirmed vehicles for the trip. I'm the only Bronco at this point. Familyman is a strong possible with another buddy as well.
