Free CAD software

Saw this advertised in one of the engineering mags I get and I remembered Mark asking if anyone had a .dxf file for a gas tank filler ring. I haven't used it but it's free and you can generate 2D drawings. It's from the makers of SolidWorks.

It says it can generate .dwg which is the AutoCAD file format. Any machine shop can take that file to generate a g-code program for their CNC.

Down loaded, thanks for the tip! I will use this for work a lot!! I use cad and solidworks files a lot and this will at least let me edit the files, i hope!
