F250 shock mount ?

Just wondering how close you guys are mounting them (F250) to the fender well? I know I should flex it up and measure for shocks but I don't have extended arms on yet. I have 3 1/2" + 2" bodylift. Don't want to put the mounts up as high as I can get them and screw myself. Just trying to get some idea of where they may go. I will most likley wait for my arms before I weld. Just trying to get things kind of fit.

had 3.5"+2" bl. mounted them to just under the fender. higher the better. i run a 15" travel shock in the front with 3.5"-4.5" springs now.. you could always go 13" if you needed to.. my .02 is mount them as high as you can..

I have a 2" BL and 4.5 coils. I bought 2 pairs of the F250 mounts and cut and welded them together to make them longer. Mounted the tops up to 1/2 inch from the top of the wheel wells.
