I really like the looks of the new top that BC Broncos sells but it is expensive. To me though it appears to be the best engineered soft top available for a Bronco. Like Pops though I have a safari top for the summer and I've got a hard top in my side yard that I will probably restore and use in the winter - but it needs some work. The thing I don't like about the hard top is that its heavy and kind of a pain to store in the off season.

I always liked the best top ones. If I were to buy one that would be the one.

I have the BesTop one and it keeps the rain off. i do like the newer ones that are coming out. but for $1000+ ill keep the bestop on for rainy day only.

Nothing better then driving down the freeway with the top.

Fixed it for ya! Although its spring now and definatly bikini top weather I had many good memories diving home 50 with a bikini top in pouring down rain, girlfriend by by side and soaking wet from all the water comming in! The good old days...

As far as the soft top goes, I have a Bestop for full doors and it definatly does its job. Cant really complain about wind noise much because driving a brick at freeway speeds tends to cause wind noise with or without a top.

I have a best top. It gives me the shade I need (Skin Canser, slow growing type) I wish the windows were the roll up type. The one I had befor was but they are not made any more. The best top was $575.00. I do like it becuse I can take out the rear window and the side windows and gives me a lot of shade.

I liked my Bestop when I had a rig that ran. Easy to put up and take down in a hurry.

                              Re: bronco soft tops

I got rid of my hard top years ago. I just bought a soft top and love it. If you have the money I highly recommend it.

The one down side I have is the gaping holes around my shifters and my current exhaust dumping under the truck and making it's way into the cab area.

When I do the exhaust I'm sure it'll be much better, but getting stuck in traffic with the softdoors and top on and none of the windows open kinda sucks

I drove from sac to the con in the rain/snow wheeled in 10* weather and camped 6 or 8 years ago. I was never uncomfortable, I just went prepared. Snow pant's and jacket. The ride started kinda warm, but not having to stop and put on more clothes was my goal. We made great time, got to set up camp at the spillway before it got dark, and once we got a fire going it was fine. The best part was waking up the next day with my roomates hair frozen to the side of the tent:laughing: Good times
