I have a 1405 carb and was going to order a spring loaded needle/seat set. They list 3 differant size sets. How do I know what I have without taking it apart?

upon closer insrpection they were not spring loaded. can you recommend a good fuel pressure regulator with a guage? Also a elec. fuel pump? I feel like spending alittle money today

well, I got the carb kit and needle and seat ordered. also got a Holley red electric fuel pump and a Mr Gasket regulator ordered. Now I need to get some hard fuel lines. I am going to put a fuel vent on top of the carb, like the Holley's have, adjust the float, plug the channel between the bowls and add the stuff I ordered. Should be fun!

I used to run cheap pumps, The Purolater red pump from like kragen, 35$ ( i bought 2) and then a cheesy reglator as well.
but then I knew i was going EFI so i did not want to put to much $ into it

i have a jet kit for that carb.. i use to run a mech pump and then a puralator regulator,,, turned it down to 2 on the con and then ran it at 5 every where else,, i could not block the fuel passage on my afb because i only had one fuel inlet..

did you have a carter or an edelbrock? It will be awhile before I get this stuff installed. Still have to buy some fuel line. And some JB weld
