  • Ford vs Chevy dana 44 disk brake compatability

Does anyone know if the brake pins ( that hold pads ) are the same for ford or chevy d44 disks?

    Thanks

If I am understanding you correctly, Front GM brakes vs Ford factory (76-77) brakes?

Ford does not use brake pins, more like two spring wedge on the caliper to mounting bracket, then a bolt with a taper to keep the assembly from sliding off.

409Bronco, thanks for the reply. That explains some things. Have gm setup on mine, didn't realize ford setup was so different.
