  • Late model 351W dipstick help.

Okay, I have a 94 351W motor in my EB. The dipstick is drivers side mid block. I recently broke the stoke dipstick and would like to replace it with something flexible. The current set-up had me bending the stock DS tube which created a ton of drag on the DS. Any suggestions would be great. I looked at Lokar and didn't find one for my application.

    Thanks in advanced

Went thru this during my build. 94 351w. Nothing available at the time that was an easy bolt on. Might be something new out but I went to pick n pull and pulled a replacement. Hope you have better luck.

Is the dipstick going into the block or the oil pan? I have a double hump rear sump pan from wild horses and was able to get a flexable dipstick from Lokar.

Depending on what timing cover you have you can put the dipstick in the timing cover, it’s how Mustangs were.
