  • Explorer timing chain

I’m slowly but Surely working on my 67 bronco. I’m going to do the explorer swap. I’m taking apart the motor to replace the seals. And I noticed that the timing chain has a little bit more than normal slop. Has anyone installed a double roller timing chain? And where did you get it?. Thanks

I bought a Cloyes True Roller chain from Summit.

My 5.0 has about 150,000mi on it, and the timing cover was leaking coolant. Seemed like a great opportunity to replace the chain.

The link isn't to my build... but my build is on this site so i'm going to assume you've seen it and that's what you are referring to.
