  • Transfer case?

Is a gasket needed between transfer case and adapter? I am running a c4/J shift if that matters.
    Thanks

    Re: Transfer case?

Just went thru mine. It's mated to a c4. Didn't use a gasket. Did use a good sealer though. I also put some thread sealer on the bolts. No leaks.

The transfercase has a seal on it and wont leak but the transmission fluid can leak out the back of the adapter if I remember correctly.

You have to drive your Bronco in order for it to leak.

I just put RTV on ot as well, only to help keep water out.
