Re: EFI tuning
Plug Ugly is right. It's getting harder to find a shop that will even deal with OBDI tuning because there's so much more user friendly systems for newer engines now. I have a TWEECER and it works but runs a little rich and doesn't idle great when cold. I could probably upgrade to the RT and do some data logging to perfect it but haven't yet.SOLD: 1975 Ford Bronco: 105" wheelbase, King 14" c/o shocks, King 2" air bumps w/ Duff arms, 4 link rear w/ coils. Re: EFI tuning
I used Gary Vance (EFIguy on Classicbroncos.com) and remote tuned mine.
I used a Quarter horse and he helped remote tune everything. The process of remote tuning is pretty easy and doesn't take a ton of time. He is very good with EECIV and EECV tuning. My EECIV 342 motor is running better than ever. He was very patient with me and took the extra time to teach me what we were doing, so I can now make most any changes on my own.69, 342 EFI, C4, NP203, D20, 4.5" SL, 2" BL, 4.88 9" 35 spline ARB, 4.88 HP D44, WAH, ARB, CTM's, front disc , 37 x 14.50 Toyo MT, Ram Assist, and rear 4-link

Re: EFI tuning
Thank you all for the input. Sounds like efiguy might be a good way to go. I will try to get ahold of him. I do have an option of taking it up to blood enterprises in Washington who did my brother in laws bronco but that's a long haul. I will report back on what I find.76, DuPont midori sour green, explorer 5.0, Mild built C4, D20, 1 ton steering, 44 w/soft locker 4:11, 9" w/locker, 4.5" lift, 1" NHL Bodylift, Duff front long arm's,4.5 WH front and rear, 35 toyo's, FloFit seats and other dodad's.

Re: EFI tuning
Just got off the phone with Gary and he is going to help me with my issues, very nice guy to talk with and very helpful. I am going to send him both my computers and make sure they are in good working order. He is going to install a data logger in one of them and send it back to me and work on remote tuning my set up. I have some homework to do for him verifying part #s and fuel pressure to make sure everything is compatible Thank you for the contact.76, DuPont midori sour green, explorer 5.0, Mild built C4, D20, 1 ton steering, 44 w/soft locker 4:11, 9" w/locker, 4.5" lift, 1" NHL Bodylift, Duff front long arm's,4.5 WH front and rear, 35 toyo's, FloFit seats and other dodad's.

Re: EFI tuning
Well I sent both my computers to Gary Vance (The EFI Guy) he updated both of them with new capacitors and sent them back. He loaded one of them with his data logger and last night we loaded the tune program on my laptop and got everything ready to go for Sunday. After talking several times now and a couple emails I am very happy that I went this route. Gary is very patient and has loads of knowledge that he is sharing during this process, he already was able to identify a problem with my 70mm Mass air housing and throttle body and my 55mm MAS which he will fix Sunday. Thank you Highlander for recommending. For those that might be interested in his services with Gary's permission here is his email. He also has a capacitor repair video on utube which I can't figure out how to put on this post? It is titled Ford OBD-1 ECM Repair.
