Gas tank pressure?

My bronco is running good but I have noticed a bunch of pressure in the tank after driving it. It is so much pressure that I can hear the tank decompress after I take the cap off. It has a vented cap but those let air in not out. I was thinking of installing a tee in the vent and installing a check valve to let air out but I don't know if I can get it high enough to keep gas from coming out on big angles on the trail. Do you guys have some ideas for me to fix this?

Do you have a carb or fuel injection? Do you have a return line? Some people will Tee off the return line and run it to a vacuum inlet.

I run fuel injection and had this same problem last year, I ran a vent to the roll bar with a catch can vent thingy. It seems to work.

EFI with stock tank teed in. So I it must be the return line dumping back in making vapor?

I have TBI and was having the very same problem. I added a vent/vapor canister and the problem has gone away.

I am happy to have it leave... Coors Lite works too.

It has a Fox body Mustang mounting bracket on it too...
