  • WH vs Bronco Graveyard

What is the difference between the WH and Bronco Graveyard 31 spline axles? Both say they are upgrade over stock. WH are ready to install and BG you have to install bearings and seals. WH are $325 BG $250. Are WH $75 more just to install bearings? Both say 1541 alloy steel. Chris

I believe W/H are Dutchman axles. ( I could be wrong) and have you figured in shipping? W/H you can pick up..

Yeah, shipping is like $40. So it's still around 290 shipped. WH is 325 + tax. Chris

        PM sent.

I've got an extra set of brand new Superiors. Strongest of all with rolled splines. 31 spline big bearing EB. I'll make you a good deal.

Otherwise...buy local from Wild H. They are good guys, and they will help you in a pinch. JBG can't bring you parts on the trail.

James, I am 0 for 2 with you today. Thanks for another great offer but I am looking at small bearing axles. What do you have in your Bronco now?

Well, we might as well make it 0/3.

I also have a very nice complete big bearing housing with brakes as well.

Maybe you should just buy that instead???

I have a bunch of bronco rear ends right now. But I am building a 35 spline Dana 60 for mine. So I've got a bunch of stuff left over.

Did you ask for the Nor Cal Broncos discount at Wild Horses? That might help get the price closer to BG....

Nor Cal Broncos discount? WTH they never mentioned it all the times I've been there. Damn. Maybe I can get my next purchase with a bigger discount to make up for all the time I didn't get one. Ha Ha Chris.
James, you have a PM. Chris

I'm hoping with all of the purchases I've made there, I too have been getting the discount. Although, I have been getting free shipping thanks to Paul....

They don't exactly advertise it... But I've asked before and they saved me a little, and every little bit helps! Besides I'm always advertising local businesses including WH to people I meet!

You have to get the secret hand shake from Jim before you can get the discount.

WH is worth the xtra bit just in customer service alone! JBG service SUCKS! I happen to run some small bearing 31 spliners from Tom's (good price, drop ins & NO TAX!). Another quality vendor option for you. Personally, sounds like James might have the best package deal going...
