Quinn is the "North American Urban Yeti" .........often spoken of and written about, but rarely seen.

The "Tie Rod Over Palooza" might be the trick.

I don't think he's making these anymore. He was cutting tube to length and tappping the ends. One option is buying the tube and weld in threaded tube inserts. Take it all to your friendly welder and your done.

Brad were you drinking with Quinn at the Pelican Brewery one night at SOB?

He was still making them as of 3 weeks ago when I did mine.

I guess that would depend on what portion of the evening you were witness to. There was some drinking involved, but; the reason we went there was to eat dinner. At some point we decided to start (resume) drinking. It's all kinda fuzzy, I know I ended up with a healthy charge to my credit card.

LOL, I thought you might be the same Brad, the wife and I were bs'ing with you two on the patio right about sundown. It was early enough that I felt safe leaving my gal there while I chased down my kids on the beach.

Aaron, I think that's the way to go with this. It's getting to the point where I can't seem to get anything done by my self.Maybe it's easier do this on an assembly line. Dave

Was that before or after the "Tip" auction?

Hmm must have been before, so is this story repeatable in a public forum or is this one for the campfire?

Much like anyother of my antics they are best observed first hand; they lose so much in translation. I will say this though: when we sat at the Bar there was a 45 minute wait, after sitting at the bar for 10 minutes we had a table. The waitress made the mistake of asking if we needed anything to drink, it went down hill from there.......lol

Quinn has a few sets made that are cut to length and tapped for the Chevy TRE's. He's selling them for $135.00 a set and that includes shipping (CONUS)

I bought the tubing and a reamer from Complete Offroad already tapped, bought the chevy tie rod ends, drag link ends locally(napa). Then I reamed the nuckles and installed it.Fairly easy.
Are you going to pull those pistols or whistle dixie?
