  • wheel spacers?

    i just did the paint and body and my bronco. i am thinking about getting a set of 1.5 wheel spacers to get the tires out from under the body a little. what do you guys think about wheel spacers. anybody had a bad experence with them.

    No problems here. Just make sure you use blue loctite on them and get them tight the first time around.

        From experience, the only one that came off was the one I did not use loctite on, the other three no problems.
        1969 EB, 88 Speed density EFI 302, HP D44 front w/ARB, Radius arm long arm, NP435, D20, D60 w/power lock rear, 4link rear with 4" stretch, Front and rear bumpers made by me.

          Is there a particular brand you guys recommend? Billet alum or steel? Looks like I'll be in the market for some when the 69 inherits the 35s that are on the Ferd. Finding a 16" wheel that's 5x5.5 with the correct backspacing seems impossible.

              I've been running 1.5" spacers on my rig ever since it went back together. No problems and no loosening.

                  1.5" all around. Have considered 2" spacers for the rear to even it out a little.

                    We sell U.S. Alcoa 6061t6 billet aluminum, Lifetime warrentee, hub-centric and wheel-centric The spacers are roughly 3-5 times stronger than the Ford cast 20" wheels ...if I can help PM me with your specs.
