4R70W Install Question

Hi all,

It looks like I lose the VSS in the tailshaft housing of my 4R70W when I install Advance Adapters kit (not sure as I don't have kit yet). Does anyone know what I have to do to get back the signal? Can I just piggyback off the Dana 20 speedo output? Does anyone know the application of the ford VSS that can take the mechanical speedo cable too?

Part number #7300, towards the bottom of the page is a complete kit: cable VSS, pigtail etc... for $104.00

or for just a VSS, an 88-93 Mustang application... Oriellys BWD part number #S8063
