  • Wanted...76-77 power steering gear box

I am in search of a 76-77 power steering gear box to replace my worn out manual steering gear box.

If your search doesn't pan out, you should look into the 4X4X2 conversion.
http://www.bcbroncos.com/info.html Go here, click on the tech information box on the left, and then go to the bottom of the page. Pretty simple.

I guess this means you found a bronco, what did you get?
As mentioned the 4X4x2 is great alternative to the stock boxes. Would you be intrested in a 73-75 box or just the quicker ratio 76-77 boxes?

Nissan box is a very affordable quick ratio alternative and doesn't require rebuilding the box.

Thanks guys. All info. is much appreciated. Highlander, yes Ipicked up a 71'.
It has the manual box and it is worn out. I would be intrested in a 73-75 box if it were in good shape. It also depends on the amount also. I am still selling Toyota parts and moving in 30 days alaso just had surgery yesterday. If you have a good 73-75 box let me know. Will that direct bolt or would I need to make mods? Thanks.

All the bronco PS boxes (73-77) are a direct bolt up. A friend had a 74 box last time I talked to him, if he still has it I will let you know. Early bronco boxes are knid of rare since they were only a option for the last 4 years of production.
A few people have made the Toyota IFS boxes work if you happen to have one of those laying around.
