  • 75 Stretch Bronco Project

    Going to be moving out of state and thought I'd see if anyone was interested in picking up where I left off..Beadlock wheels and tires not included, sitting on 35" rollers. Red bronco is my photoshop rendering of the finished product.

    1975 Bronco
    • 12” frame stretch =105” wheelbase
    • 65 ford bed sides to complete body stretch
    • Half cab top
    • 2 stock hoods
    • 2 tailgates
    • New front fenders as well as originals
    • Front winch bumper
    • Protofab rear bumper
    • High Pinion Dana 44 front axle from 79 F150, completely new from hub to hub. Mile marker hubs, Yukon Chromalloy axles and super joints, ARB locker, 4:56 gears, HD diff cover, 1 ton steering (Ruff Stuff).
    • Matching 9” big bearing rear axle with 4:56 gears, Track Lock limited slip, 31 spline axles, explorer disc brakes.
    • New 3.8 Atlas 2 transfer case
    • 2000 Explorer 5.0 motor with FMC headers, complete mustang harness, 19# injectors, A9P computer, MAS air, electronic distributer, ect.
    • 4R70W automatic transmission
    • 12” ORI STX front struts with Artek strut mounts
    • 3.5” rear lift springs
    • 1” lift poly body bushing kit
    • 23 gallon fuel tank with ?” skid plate mount
    • EZ wire complete wiring harness
    • Stock and F100 steering boxes
    • HD rear shackles
    • Dakota digital dash
    • New body seal kit
    • 2 sets of new door panels
    • Power window kit
    • Boxes of Misc. parts and hardware
    • Clear title non-op
    $20K firm and there are boxes of parts that come with it.

    Well I certainly don't need another project, LOL. But let me know if you're interested in selling one of your tailgates. I do need one of those.

      Wish I could help you out, but one tailgate is for the stretch bronco and the other will stay with the original back half of the tub. I had planned to build a matching trailer from that..

        Change of plans. After uncovering it to take pics I realized how cool a project this was and talked myself into keeping it.

          Haha, good for you! It is a very cool project. I'm glad you decided to keep it. Now get back to work!! Next summer is coming fast!

                I am glad about three things:
                1. That you are keeping it, because it is going to be very cool
                2. That you wanted 20k for it, because much less and I'd probably have come get it.
                3. That I did not attempt to do the level of body work that this will require!

                If and when you start to make progress on this, please do a thread here so that we can watch from afar!
