  • Cheap full widths!

    http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/car/491427397.html

I would not want to fight the smog battle with this thing but it looks too nice to rob of its axles and send to the scrap pile... $500 is mighty tempting though.

I'm passing on this because I know that $500 axles would turn into another $5000 project by the time I put lockers, gears, shafts, bearings and joints in both of these axles... Somebody out there who wants full widths should take advantage! Where was this a year ago...

Nice Bronco for 500 bucks! That would make a great wheeler!

It would make a good wheeler. If it had a front 60 I'd consider it as a donor for my EB. My neighbor had one (way before I was into EBs) that he gave away. It had completely new running gear with zero miles on it...

Yes, I'd do $100 for the case. I'm trying to get my other one out to see why no 2wd or 4h. If it's broke this would be an easier fix. Let me know if you pick it up. Darin

I sold my 79 early this year. The Radius Arms and Front coils can work in the EB's (same length).
I picked up a set of knuckles, calipers, hubs, and steering tie rods and pitman arm from a donor back in May and did a Disc Conversion as well as used the steering tie rods by having it shortend and threaded.
The Pitman is the bonus, a cheap drop pitman! Stock!

LOL... I owe Mr. 71 a few beers but he can't yet take delivery yet. Maybe when he's old enough to drink, he'll be old enough to convert to full-width axles...

                              Pops,

Does it have intermitent wipers? If so, would you sell me the switch and intermitent box?

                              Thanks,

                              Galen
