  • Carnegie Meetup!

A few of us are looking to set up a Sunday for some wheeling and a potluck lunch at Carnegie SVRA between Livermore and Tracy.

Looking at mid-to-late October, on a Sunday.

More details to come, but we'll make this a fun event.

Post a response with your interest, and we'll firm up the plans soon.

I’d be interested. If I have my bronco up and running.
      Thanks

Updating the thread for those who are not following it on the Facebook Group for NCB. It's looking like the weekend of October 20/21. It will likely be one of those two days. I am leaving this open for discussion until this Friday and then we'll settle on a day and make more plans for this event.

Thanks to all who are interested!

Yes, you just haven't been invited to it.

It's existed for probably almost as long as the site has. Or at least almost as long as I've been on this site anyway. Come join the fun Doug.

Sunday, 10/21 is slightly ahead in the poll right now.

I don't do Facebook... But I have considered it.
Maybe it is because I don't understand why anyone would want to spend all their time on it? My Bronco addition is bad enough...

I have had my finger on the button to deactivate my account a bunch of times. The reason that I stay on that site is because it is how I stay in touch with a lot of family members who are spread all across the country. The same is becoming true of my group of friends. It just makes it easier to share pictures, talk about things we're doing, projects we're working on, etc. Before FB I was extremely bad at keeping in touch with people.
This being said, I am test driving instagram as a possible replacement. FB is 90% crap to scroll through to see the 10% of the content that I am actually interested in.

                            Re: Carnegie Meetup!

Looks like we are pretty evenly split between Saturday and Sunday. I was hoping to have an overwhelming majority by Friday but that did not happen, so I gave it a few more days and still nothing. So at this point let's just plan on it being either 10/20 or 10/21 and decide on which day it will be in the coming days.

I guess the final decision being weather.
