YES...that will be brutal alright. I drove in late and stayed at the basecamp. I think it's about 8000' Hiked up to breeze lake about 12000' and camped. Did the summit and back down to base the next day. Great pizza and beer joint in lone pine afterward!!

          Re: Fresno Meet n Greet

Holt75, we were thinking going by-monthly until we get a big enough following to go monthly. So i hadn't planned on doing a august meeting, but i'm open to it if everyone else is. Maybe that's what Zach needs to stay motivated to get his rolling.

Wade, Were going to drive up Tuesday night and set up at the base camp. Friday will be a short day hike to a nearby lake to help acclimate, then Saturday will be hell.

David, how about a meet some evening at the new place in Friant 'Sandals on the Beach' would be kinda in the middle of the Ranchos, Fresno and the Aubery/Tollhouse area.

I still plan on going to Huntington on the 23 to test my rig.

Can I ride with someone to at least pretend my bronco runs?

We should meet at your place and get it running. Are you close to firing it up?

Are we gonna do it at Wahoo's or somewhere in Friant? Or somewhere else altogether?
