  • New squirrel "sniper" rifle

Found a couple CZs in a local shop a couple weeks ago. NIB (2004 & 2005 models). Been in his back storeroom since he got'em in 8 years ago! Made me a sweet deal on'em so I grabbed them both & 1 will be for 69steed.

Outfitting this one with a Vangaurd QD bipod & Leupold 4-12x40 AO (gets here in a couple days). Should be a fun little squirrel head popper!

    CZ 452 .17hm2 Varmint.

Nice! If I didn't have neighbors so close I'd be picking up one of those for the squirrel problem I have in my yard. Damn squirrels like my vegetable garden.

The other one I got has a threaded barrel for a suppressor. THAT'S what you need! A .17 mach2 w/ suppressor. Those neighbors would never even know it was there.

rim fire suppressors aren't hard to make, not that I am suggesting that you commit a felony but not much gas coming out of those shells

Its not so much the noise as it is my short fence and nosy neighbor. I have a pellet gun that I've got no reservations about using in the back yard aside from that guy complaining to the authorities. He needs to go on vacation soon... the rest of the neighbors would not care one bit.

That's why I'm letting my buddy have it, to remove the temptation...
