Talk was they did not have a new spindle.
Live feed from pirate confirms that a new spindle/hub assembly exists and repairs are being made soon.

They are a one off peace designed specifacally for this car. They are basically a custom built unit bearing style hub, using rebuildable parts. There is alot of information and debate about how they would hold up in the build thread on Pirate.
