That's a good deal. I just made some up from some winch line (1 5/8 rope) off our line trucks from work. It has a 68,000 lbs breaking strenght when new. Shouldn't be to far off from that. Splicing eyes into that rope is hard on your hands. I made two. The first one I screwed up on and it ended up being around 45 feet long, and the other is about 25 feet. We will see how they work on the snow run Sunday.

Hey guys...4wps are selling the tow straps at my cost. Can you believe that? If they are charging you shipping...I can save you that and bring them on the 19th....if the shipping is free...go with 4wp. Sorry guys..

They might be a little cheaper on Sat.

well they weren't cheaper. $33 for a 3" x 30k pro comp strap. Saw a few cool rigs there. Also a couple of cool trailers with tents on them. I think the link was www.4x4trailers.com.

Also found out that 4wps gives 5% discount if you register your club with them. Don't know if we should though as they don't have mych in the way of EB stuff.

Carl, are we going to be registered with the Cal 4 wheel drive assn? Just curious.
