  • Question about OEM main gas tank.

I thought all OEM main gas tanks had the vent tube to the rear of the fuel filler inlet. Here’s a pic of my, what I believe to be, OEM tank. Its hard to see in the pic but the vent is forward of the fuel inlet.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Bronco is a ‘70. Do you know when they changed?

          Sorry Skip, I don't know...

I noticed this with the last Mass Buy, I asked Jake at Aero to put the vent on the front as I didn't want the vent line looped over the filler.
He said they are all in the back... And I replied no they are not, at least with the two I have.

I bought the M1A1 23 gallon tank from WH. It has the vent in back. I also bought a new filler/vent line from WH. It is set up for the vent in the back. At the time I didn’t realize my OEM tank had the vent in the front.
