Auto Transportation

Does anybody know a guy that does auto transportation? I'm looking at buying a truck out of state and need it transported back to CA. I got a bunch of quotes online from all of the brokers, but I was hoping to find a private guy that has 1 ton truck and trailer that hauls a couple cars at a time.
