Nice rig Mark - do you trailer or drive it to event/runs. How do you like the IROK's on the street if ya drive it??

Thanks! I trailer it most of the time but I do drive it on the street upon occasion. The Irok's are great on the street! I have the 39.5 Bias type and they're much better than the 36" SX's and 38.5 TSL's I had in the past. Irok's are very soft and wear pretty quickly on the street. The radial version is supposed to be more pavement friendly

Welcome to the site everyone, nice lookin Broncos,

Bronctoy, I don't want to sound dumb but can you explain to me what the Van rear 35 spline Detroit is ? Is it a stronger Detroit then the regular 9in detroit lockers?
            Thanks

The axle housings out of the E-150 vans are 3" wider than the pickup housings.

As usual, more informative tech off this site. Bronctoy, can you measure out flange to flange for me, I am running rear discs so WMS to WMS wont work for me. Even better would be the year of E150 that you got yours out of. Always looking to go wider and longer, next year will be that 77 F150 HP D44 under the front with something similar out back.

The measurement is about 63 1/4" flange to flange. I think the van was a '78 E-150 at the local Pick-N-Pull. It was originally a 28 spline, I went 35 spline w/Dutchman axles and did the cheap disc brake setup.

                      • That means that we would actually have to get out and do some wheeling...

I am pushing hard for March!! (pushing hard meaning I haven't started but REALLY want to... )

                        • Speak for yourself Delta. Some of us have been wheeling, even if it is just out to PC. I even pulled one of your tricks out there. I broke. Just the rear end though. Got it back together now. Just need to hook up the limit straps, pull the third member, and install the mini spool, and then I'm back to where I was. I really need to upgrade that rear end though. This is the third one in a year and a half.
